We’re Following the BHi Great Britain Heritage Team to the 2017 WBHF World Championships!

BHi Great Britain Heritage Team Heads to Czechia

The time has finally come for the BHi Great Britain Heritage Team to pack their bags and board an international flight to the Czech Republic where they’ll be competing in the World Ball Hockey Federation (WBHF) World Championships, and Stick Skillz is along for the ride. The road to this point hasn’t been simple by any means, but it has been a rewarding one to be sure. The team has undergone a great deal of preparation to travel overseas and make their mark at the championship, in what promises to be the experience of a lifetime.

Always Be Prepared

Competing in the WBHF World Championships isn’t something that just fell into the team’s lap. There was plenty of hard work to be done and preparations to be made to ensure the team could bring their all over the week long event. The team kicked off their training camp in early May where they worked tirelessly at their on floor workouts to ensure they’d be in top playing shape for the tournament. A more in depth look at the BHi Great Britain Heritage Team training camp can be found right here

In addition to preparing physically for the tournament, someone has to take care of the financials. The team hosted a fundraiser over the weekend of May 13th at the Curinga Canadian Italian Club in London to raise over $2500 for their travels. A rundown of exactly what took place at the fundraiser can be found right here

All of the team’s hard work is about to pay off in just two days when they board the plane to the Czech Republic to hopefully return world champions.
