Welland, Ontario – This summer and fall season, Stick Skillz Academy has partnered with Tim Hortons to provide youth participants aged 4-9 with a unique Timbits price point and exclusive Stick Skillz jersey. For years, Tim Hortons has helped support minor sports with their Timbits programs. Currently, the program has supported more than 300,000 children in hockey, soccer, ringette, lacrosse, softball, and baseball programs in Canada and the United States.
Stick Skillz Academy is a ball hockey teaching program geared towards teaching the great sport of ball hockey. The goal of the program is to provide ball hockey lessons to players of all ages and ability levels in order to improve their skills and allow them to get the most out of the sport. Stick Skillz Academy Welland is held at the Ball Hockey International rink located at Youngs Sportsplex at 570 River Road. Summer Academy began on June 13th and operates every Monday for 10 weeks (Participants 10 and under practice from 6-7PM/ Participants 17 and under practice from 7-8PM).
