The final game between the Vancouver Falcons and the Victoria Devils was heated. Ben Woywitka of the Victoria Devils scored an unassisted goal at the beginning of the first period, but Smiter Kaila tied it up for the Falcons just a few minutes later. Neither team was ready to concede this loss, a point made evident by the rough play that put the game at a 4-on-4 multiple times in the first period. The Devils took the lead again in the second with a power play goal scored by Mike Hammond, but Christ Sirovyak of the Falcons tied it up again a few minutes later with a power play goal of his own. The game would stay at a tie for almost a full ten minutes before Dylan Churchwell scored the game winner making the Vancouver Falcons the Men’s A Division Champs.

That closes the book on the Men’s A and Women’s BCBHA Provincial Championships. Congratulations to the Vancouver Falcons, and the Whalers on some well earned championship victories.
