This weekend marks the return of the OBHF Men’s A Provincials, and the Men’s B/C/D Winter Provincials in Mississauga.  There are some familiar teams in attendance this weekend, and we’ve got a preview to fill you in on exactly what you can expect out of the event.

This tournament is critical as the top 2 teams in each division will qualify for the 2020 Nationals.

D Division

The D Division features 16 teams, with only 5 teams returning from the 2018 tournament.  With 2018 champion Kitchener Rebels not returning this year, the division crown is up for grabs.  Last year’s finalists, the Snipers as well as the Toronto Bullets both had a taste of success in 2018 and they will have their eye on the prize for 2019.

C Division

The C Division is down from 14 teams last year and is without any of its top 4 finishers from 2018.  With only 4 returning teams this division is anyone’s game.

B Division

The B Division is poised to be one of the most competitive of the weekend.  2018 champs, The Big Bastone will be returning in an effort to defend their crown from some impressive challengers like the Stoney Creek Savages and North York Leafs.

A Division

The A Division features six of the top teams in the province including the return of 2018 champions, the New Tec Xtreme.  Looking to topple the champs is an impressive cast of teams including the Richmond Hill Falcons, Niagara Warpigs, Midnight Express, Ottawa Godfathers and Toronto Titans.
